News from the Vernon Arms

We have some news!

Vernon Arms Bar

We have sold the pub, and it is likely that Sunday 22nd May will be our last day of trading as licensees of the Vernon Arms. As we consider the journey we have been on in the last 17 years at the pub, the people we have met, the friends we have made, and those that sadly are no longer with us, we feel privileged to have been custodians of The Vernon Arms. It has been good to us, and we hope we have been good to The Vernon Arms, but now is the right time to let somebody else take the reins. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all so very much for your support over the years, so...

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

You will be pleased to know that our fantastic team of staff will be remaining at the Vernon Arms. We really cannot thank them enough for the loyalty and dedication that they have all shown, and continue to show. A special thank you has to go to Jamie Everson, our head chef, who has been with us all the way - thank you for sharing our vision 17 years ago. In the meantime, it will be business as usual for us, and we will have the following live music on Sundays before we hand over.

Sunday 8th May - Jack Daniel - 5pm to 8pm

Sunday 15th May - Law & Disorder - 5pm to 8pm

Sunday 22nd May - Hill Billy Goats Gruff - 5pm to 8pm

If you have any gift vouchers, please redeem them before the 22nd May. We hope you will understand that we would prefer the sale of the pub not to be the topic of conversation with ourselves and staff across the bar. If you have any questions, please email info@vernonarms.com. Best wishes, Paul and Debbie
